"When We Go To Mass" is a simple rhyming journey through the four parts of the Mass; Introductory Rites, Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of the Eucharist, and Concluding Rites.
In addition to the four parts, this precious book touches on twelve key moments from the Mass. They include; greeting, Penitential Act, Scripture readings, Homily, Creed, Prayer of the Faithful, Preparation of the Gifts, Consecration of the bread and wine, the Lord's Prayer, the Sign of Peace, Communion, and the Final Blessing.
A perfect addition to any mini Catholic library!
A great book for children of all ages.
Book measures roughly 7 inches tall and 7 inches wide with thick board book pages in different shapes to create a 3D Church! There are five spreads in total, plus the front and back covers.
Just the perfect book for my grandchildren's' baptisms. Wonderful information presented age-appropriately, captivating illustrations, and very unique shape. Baby, toddler, and parent friendly. I will purchase again next time I am in need of a baptism or first communion gift.
The book is beautiful. I love the explanation of going to mass. However, the book is way too flimsy due to the shape of the church. It ripped within a week. It would be better if the spine of the book was excluded from the church cutouts.
Beautiful book explaining Mass for little ones, fun for toddlers to turn the pages and was a hit this Easter. I’m sure it will continue to be a great book and learning tool as the little one grows.
Bought the books for my grandchildren along with Mama Mary and baby Jesus dolls, and some original saint dolls, and several placemats for their Easter baskets this year.
Overall a really adorable gift! It was the perfect addition to our Easter basket! It did come damaged on the tips (pictured) so that was a little disappointing considering it was a new book.
Added these adorable illustrated board books to our “He is Risen Baskets” for our two godchildren. I love how they shine a light on what truly happens when we attend Mass.
Not as engaging as the other two - St Teresa and St Francis… the picture scenes don’t change much and the book doesn’t have different shapes and sizes of pages so that they overlap. Would not repurchase or recommend.
We love this book because it's sturdy and does a really good job explaining on their level what happens during Mass! The pictures are bright and the print is clear and my daughter loves to flip through this at night! :)
I gave this gift to a First Communicant who is autistic. He really liked it as did his parents. He does not really like reading, so this book was a nice balance of simple, yet meaningful words and vibrant pictures, in addition to the shape of the book, which is a church!
Beautiful book that my little boy loves to read and take to mass with us. Each time we read it he notices something new in the photos and it’s one of his favorites.
