Are your dolls safe for small children (babies and toddlers)?

Yes! All of our dolls are third party lab tested for children under age 3 and conform to ASTM F963. This doesn’t mean that they are strictly meant for children under age 3, we just wanted to make sure they would be safe for the whole family! Each doll undergoes rigorous safety testing, including tests for lead, BPA, phthalates and small parts- among other things. Needless to say, they pass with flying colors! Although safe for babies and toddlers, our dolls are not teethers and do not recommend them for this purpose.

 

What are your dolls made from?

We use high quality vinyl, and child safe paints. This ensures a product that is lightweight, durable, and safe.

 

Where are your dolls designed?

All of our products are designed by our founder/artist, Chantal, in her studio in Chicago.

 

Can I order a custom saint doll?

Unfortunately we do not have this option available. We add new saints several times a year, usually based on the feedback we get from our Facebook community! We’d love for you to join us there and let us know which saints you’d like to see next!

 

Do you offer your products for wholesale purchasing?

How can I make a return or exchange?

Any purchase may be returned or exchanged by the original purchaser within 30 days, as long as it is in original condition and packaging. Purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs. Contact us at sales@shininglightdolls.com for more specifics.

 

What is your price adjustment policy?

Prices are valid on the day of purchase only. Sale pricing may vary and adjustments are not valid on purchases made prior to the sale date.

 

What is your discount policy?

Coupon codes and sale prices are not stackable and coupons can't be used on orders where sale prices are already applied. The same is true of rewards certificates. Discounts do not apply to shipping or sales tax and both are calculated on the amount paid after all applicable discounts, sales, coupons, rewards, etc.

 

Where's my order?

Orders are generally processed within 24-48 hours from the time they are placed. This timeframe can be longer during new product releases or sale periods. Due to Covid-19 related delays, real world shipping times are longer than listed here. Please expect delays. Shipping times can vary from 1-14 days depending on your location and the service selected. Once your order is in transit items will not be returned or exchanged until they have been delivered. Changes to service times can be made at the discretion of the carriers. Please reach out to the shipping carrier for specifics or track online. Service levels are outlined below:

Free Shipping - Orders shipped free are generally First Class Mail if under 1lb and Parcel Select service if over 1lb. For packages tracking information will be provided but for items that fit in flat envelopes tracking is not included. This is an affordable way to keep shipping costs down for our customers. If you need faster service please opt for Priority Mail, UPS, or Fedex. Depending on your location this can be 2-14 days.

First Class Package - Orders where First Class package service is chosen are shipped with First Class Mail and have the addition of Tracking. This can be chosen when you already qualify for the Flat Rate $2 shipping to add tracking if you prefer. Actual average time in transit is 3-11 days.

$2 Flat Rate Shipping - Orders qualifying for $2 Flat Rate shipping are shipped First Class Mail. These items are almost always shipped in flat envelopes and do not include tracking information. No frills flat rate shipping for up to 1lb of flat items. Actual average time in transit is 3-11 days.

Priority Mail - Orders where Priority Mail is chosen will be shipped with this service. Actual average time in transit is 2-10 days.

UPS, DHL, and FedEx - Orders where one of these is chosen will be shipped with that service. Actual average time in transit 1-5 days.
