Meet our Our Lady of Prompt Succor rag doll—and she is so beautiful! Clothed in a shimmering gold dress and matching veil, she wears a lovely golden crown with bright red details. Her long brown yarn hair and sweet embroidered smile make her such a special little friend!
This lovely doll honors the Blessed Mother under her title Our Lady of Prompt Succor, meaning “Our Lady of Quick Help.” The Ursuline Sisters brought this devotion to New Orleans from France in 1810, and Mary is honored under this title as the patroness of Louisiana. For generations, families have turned to her, asking for her prayers and help in times of need. Our doll’s golden clothing echoes the treasured gold statue in New Orleans—a beautiful reminder of this beloved devotion.
Dressed all in gold, she also makes a beautiful Christmas Mary! Pair her with our Baby Jesus Rag Doll to help little ones bring the Nativity story to life. A thoughtful Catholic gift for children and a lovely companion for Advent traditions, prayer time, and everyday play!
Doll is 12” tall. Cotton and satin trim, all new polyester fill.
Listing is for Our Lady of Prompt Succor Rag Doll only, other dolls sold separately.
