This was a great book to accompany the wooden Jesse tree and magnets for advent. Together, they created a very engaging activity for our toddler. We are actually Protestant but found the book to be a useful tool for Biblical literacy and anticipating the celebration of the birth of Christ, nonetheless. Have recommended to my friends!
We loved the book and accompanying Jesse tree set! Perfect for our preschooler and toddler!
To couple with the Jesse Tree the book is great to flip with our kids and read Scripture and learn about the faith!
I have been doing a Jessie tree with my older children for 13 years. Now that my littlest is old enough to join in we needed something more age-appropriate than what I am doing with the teenagers. This little book is perfect. Just the right amount of story to help him be engaged. He loves the flaps and the pictures that match the ornaments. This makes doing Jesse tree with a toddler or preschooler doable!
Best Jesse Tree system when you have very young kiddos!
We have loved using the Jesse tree book and tree with magnets with our 3 and 1 year old. It’s a hands on way to talk about Christmas that they are so excited to do each day.
The perfect addition to our Advent! Our 18 month old loves to help match the picture on the magnet to the one in the book and “stick” it on the tree. We have another baby girl on the way, and we cannot wait to see how this tradition grows with them, helping to keep their eyes fixed on Christ and God’s promises!
I love the Magnetic Jesse Tree and daily story book to use with my First Grade Class. We daily read the daily verse, talk about it and I pair it with a video for them to watch. It makes understanding the prophecy about our Lord and Savior. It is very useful and fun to use.
This board book is such a wonderful companion to the magnetic Jesse Tree. It is engaging for my toddler and informational for my husband and me as we read it each morning at breakfast. I can’t wait to use this book for years to come as we journey through Advent as a family.

This is a great companion to the Jesse Tree, and I would 100% recommend getting both! It helped our family recall salvation history leading up to Jesus!

I gifted one of the books to my nephew’s baby for her first Christmas. They loved it.
We bought the Christmas bundle which included the Jesse Tree. The package was packed with diligence and care. Every box was in pristine condition. We will definitely be purchasing gift items in the future!

I used this book for my preschool class' morning meeting. The children were excited to read the daily reading and then have the opportunity to put that day's ornament on the tree. The pictures bring meaning to the readings. Also, the pictures aide in teaching the children the Old Testament Scripture. Thank you
The Jesse tree book did a nice job of simplistically telling the story of Jesus and his ancestry.

My toddler LOVES this book and tree! He asks to do Jesse tree multiple times a day. Awesome learning experience!
My son (2.5) loves opening the lesson each day. Each day has a short blurb and also verses that correspond with the lesson which allows it to be appropriate for many ages. Such a fun and family friendly Jesse tree activity!
The book might be a little too vague for what I’m looking for. But it is very well made and th kids love to lift the flap for that day!

We love our Jesse Tree and companion book. My kids beg to put the magnet on and open the flap each night. It’s a great item to recenter the Christmas season on Jesus
We have loved the Jesse tree and ornaments. I only wish the book was more robust. We definitely have to supplement the book.
Beautifully made. My granddaughter loves it. They do the reading at dinner time from the little green book that goes along with each individual ornament for the Jesse tree. My daughter-in-laws mom bought 3 of them. So happy. 😃
The writing is not for young children. Too bad because the illustrations and lift the flaps are lovely.

Great quality, a simple Advent tradition to guide us through Scripture and the reason for Christmas.
This is our first year doing the Jesse Tree tradition, and we're loving it! My kids (8 and 4) really love the sweet pictures and the book. We take the time to read the corresponding Bible passage as well, which they really enjoy. And putting the magnet on each morning is so fun!
