Inspired by one of the most well known and beloved prayers written by the great St. Francis of Assisi, we are completely in love with this reversible day and night design.
The Canticle of the Sun was sung by St. Francis and his friends as a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.
With Brother Sun we’ve included the line, “Of you, Most High, he bears the likeness.”- in praise of God’s radiant splendor- but we also love the double meaning- that our little ones also bear the likeness of God.
With Sister Moon we’ve included the line, “in heaven you formed them clear and precious and beautiful.” Because like the stars in the heavens, our little ones are beautiful, precious and formed by the hands of God.
With St. Francis, we offer praise to God for the gifts of creations and the gift of life.
