Blessed Trinity (Glory Be) Wooden Prayer Candle

Children can partake in the beautiful traditional act of “lighting a candle” during their prayer time with our wooden prayer candles. The light of the candle is a symbol of our prayer, offered to God in faith.

This simple and beautiful act invites children to pause and direct their attention toward the Lord. Like adults, the physical act of lighting a candle reminds them that their prayers are real and are heard by God. Our Montessori-inspired candles allow for hands-on interaction, cultivate imagination, and require no dangerous electricity or batteries.

Children love “lighting” the solid wood toy candle with the included wooden flame disc—then taking it out and doing it again! Whether on a bedside table, shelf, or family altar, these candles are a beautiful call to prayer for children of all ages.

Each candle is printed with beautiful religious artwork on the front, and a corresponding traditional Catholic prayer on the back. Candle without flame disc measures 6 inches tall.

The Holy Trinity

The Glory Be (or Doxology) is a short but powerful prayer of praise to the Most Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It reminds us that God is eternal and worthy of glory forever. Often prayed at the end of each decade of the Rosary or during daily devotions, it teaches children to honor all three Persons of the Trinity in their prayer life.
