I bought two of these rag dolls and put them in a soft woven basket to give my 8 yr old granddaughter. They were on the top of her Christmas wish list. The first set I bought had some manufacturing issues, but the customer service at Shining Light was really great and very responsive to the issue. And they quickly shipped out replacements. The replacements are great. But you do need to spend a bit of time with a steam iron to press out all the wrinkles. But these are just cute as can be!!

I love her. She is beautiful. However, she arrived wrinkled. She was squished in a plastic bag and then squished into a box. The heat of summer steamed the wrinkles in. I don't know how to make her look like the picture. I smoothed her out as best I could.

We love the doll! We have purchased 3 of this doll two for my family and one for my offices. I am a Directer of Religious Formation and the cute little doll sits at the door to greet all the children when they come to see me. Children love to hold her and here all about Mary.

Oh, this is such a beautiful doll! We live right by Our Lady of Champion in Wisconsin, so this doll is SO special for my daughter. We visit the shrine often, so now this little doll will come with us next time! :) We have the Our Lady of Guadalupe doll as well, and now I need to get a Jesus or St. Joseph doll for my son!! An absolutely beautiful doll. I love the design that reflects the history of Our Lady of Champion and Wisconsin with the details of the fall leaves. We bought it for our goddaughter's baptism and gave it to her along with the story of Our Lady's appearance here in the USA, and it was a very special gift.

I purchased this doll to create a Holy Family set from Shining Light Dolls for my daughter’s First Communion. I gifted her St. Joseph, Baby Jesus, and her choice of Mary — she chose this one. As someone who has purchased rag dolls from multiple Catholic retailers over the years, I was underwhelmed by the size, weight, fabric quality, and overall construction. The stitching and materials simply do not feel heirloom quality to me. My daughter is 9 and not rough with her toys, yet I do not see this holding up well enough to become a hand-me-down for younger siblings the way some other premium rag dolls can. That said, these are still noticeably better quality than the dolls from Be A Heart, in my opinion. If you’ve purchased those and been disappointed, you may prefer these. Still, I would personally only recommend purchasing them on sale.
