The Feast of the Epiphany, celebrated on January 6th, marks the visit of the Magi and the revelation of Christ as the Light to all nations. In many Catholic cultures, families share a Rosca de Reyes—a ring-shaped cake baked in honor of the Three Kings—with a tiny figure of the baby Jesus hidden inside.Whoever finds Him is invited to host a special celebration on Candlemas! This wooden play set brings that beautiful tradition to life in the play kitchen.
It includes six cake slices with hidden compartments underneath—each one ready to hide the removable Baby Jesus figure, which attaches securely with velcro. A white wooden plate completes the set for joyful feast day fun.Designed to nurture imagination and liturgical wonder, this set invites children to engage with the rhythms of the Church year in a hands-on, meaningful way—celebrating Christ’s kingship and the joy of discovery.
Created to bring the richness of Catholic feast-day traditions into the playroom, this piece invites children to enter the rhythm of the liturgical year through joyful pretend play. It helps little ones learn the stories, seasons, and celebrations of our faith in the most natural way—through hands-on imagination, family tradition, and the simple delight of “cooking” the foods they see at home.
