My 4 year old granddaughter Ayla wanted an ‘Elisabeth’ doll so her Mary doll could go visit her. I couldn’t find an Elisabeth doll so I bought Mary. I unstitched her head to remove her brown yarn hair and added gray yarn hair, stuffed and stitched her back. While I was looking for material to make an Elisabeth costume, my daughter in law told me Ayla wanted Elisabeth to sparkle. I sewed Silvery Christmas ribbon to the existing Mary hooded cape and sewed pink sparkly ribbon to the front of her dress. Ayla loves her Elisabeth doll who is visited by Mary all the time now.
Came quickly and was my daughter’s favorite gift!! The perfect size rag doll to play with, sleep with, bring along in the car etc. She’s excited to play with her Shining Light doll as we watch The Chosen and continue to study the life of Jesus

Very pretty and really great quality. The blessed mother doll arrived very quickly and came before the expected delivery date and just in time for Christmas. The veil and dress were a little wrinkled from packing and shipping but came out after a day or so.
I bought Mary and baby Jesus for my daughter, Mary is her confirmation Saint. She totally loves it, it has brought her closer to our faith. It has been a blessing for our family.

So beautiful! We ordered this as a way to teach our daughter the story of Christmas, and she loves it (though I might love it more). She woke up this morning and was ecstatic to find baby Jesus in her arms. We are very satisfied and will likely order more from Shining Light Dolls as our daughter learns about the saints!

My daughter is so in love with her doll! I surprised her with it and she thanked me for almost an hour straight! I immediately messaged my friend to consider one for her daughter as well. My little one is often fearful at night, even when she sleeps with us, so I was hoping having Mary with her would help to calm her fears. She often falls asleep holding my rosary. We always say our bedtime prayers but now that she has this tangible blessing to hold and cuddle, it has helped her so much! She is excited to get her baby brother a little Jesus rag doll when they’re back in stock ❤️
She is beautiful! My 11 month old is a little more into the tiny baby Jesus that you can also buy, at the moment. I know as she gets older she will enjoy the Mary rag doll even more. A great quit toy to take to mass.
